Microsoft faces battle for Activision deal, especially if ‘Call of Duty’ is destined for Xbox exclusivity

Microsoft Corp. has in the last few years gotten a bit of an anti-competitive pass from U.S. regulators, after its long legal battle with the Justice Department in the late 1990s but that pass may now be at an end, with the software behemoth's plans to purchase the troubled video game maker Activision Blizzard Inc.
