Heartland Energy HEGP Selects Graffco Inc. for Dispensers Pumps

Heartland Energy Group, Inc. (PINK SHEETS:HEGP) announced today that it has selected and entered into an agreement with Graffco, Inc, as its supplier of Dispenser Pumps and equipment for Heartland stations.

Graffco, Inc. has been in business for over forty years and offers one of the worlds most extensive inventories of new and pre-owned Dispenser Pumps and equipment, which make them one of the largest retailers in the industry. This gives Heartland Energy Group the ability to obtain a wide variety of service station equipment from an experienced company and at volume pricing.

Roy Thornhill stated: This is an essential step in securing the infrastructure for the mass distribution of Heartland Energys, patent-pending, He85 brand ethanol.

About Graffco

For over 40 years, Graffco has created the trends that others follow, even the competition! Graffco's extensive experience and knowledge in the petroleum equipment business has given them the upper hand in providing customers like Exxon Mobil (NYSE:XOM), Chevron (NYSE:CVX), Schlumberger (NYSE:SLB), and Shell (NYSE:RDS-A) with the most reliable gasoline pumps and dispensers available. Graffco is dedicated to being the industry leader in providing the infrastructure for the distribution of ethanol and gas.

Ethanol Industry:

The growing interest in ethanol, a clean, corn-based renewable resource, has paralleled the escalating price of gas and the urgent need to break the country's dependence on crude oil. Recently, the Big Three automobile manufacturers, GM (NYSE:GM), Ford (NYSE:F), and DaimlerChrysler (NYSE:DCX), appealed to Congress for incentives to increase the number of gas stations that offer blends of ethanol. Microsoft (NasdaqGS:MSFT) co-founder Bill Gates invested $84 million into Pacific Ethanol (NasdaqGM:PEIX). Sir Richard Branson, chairman of the Virgin Group (NasdaqGS:VMED) and worth an estimated $3 Billion, has plans to invest $300 to $400 million to produce and market this alternative fuel. Vinod Khosla, "guru" of Silicon Valley, co-founder of Sun Microsystems (NasdaqGS:SUNW), and one of ethanol's most vocal advocates, has personally invested millions in private companies involved in the development of ethanol. The development of renewable energy resources has created enough buzz to force conventional gas an oil conglomerates such as Exxon Mobil (NYSE:XOM), Chevron (NYSE:CVX), and BP (NYSE:BP) to focus more on alternative energy solutions. Alternative energy companies like Archer Daniels Midland (NYSE:ADM) and Bunge Limited (NYSE:BG) have experienced some resistance in their respective markets due to the rise in feedstock costs.
