A new online survey commissioned by Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) revealed that more than two-thirds (68%) of Americans would feel more confident entering public facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic if employees and patrons were wearing masks. The survey also found that over three in five Americans (62%) say frequent disinfection and sanitization of restrooms in public facilities would make them feel more self-assured. The survey of more than 2,000 U.S. adults was conducted for Cintas by The Harris Poll.
“The pandemic has resulted in many businesses reevaluating health and safety protocols, including the way they approach cleaning,” said Sean Mulcahey, marketing manager, Cintas. “Taking the proper precautions can instill confidence in customers and secure repeat business at a time when revenue is crucial.”
The survey also revealed that 61% of Americans say they would feel more confident if the facility has implemented additional cleaning and disinfecting protocols, which includes professional application of a disinfectant or sanitizer.
Cintas offers a variety of necessary products and services to businesses to ensure they are Ready™ to operate during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. With the Cintas UltraClean® restroom service, organizations can instill confidence in customers by sanitizing surfaces and removing build-up, soil and bacteria. The high-pressure cleaning process uses chemicals that are formulated to clean restroom surfaces while leaving a pleasant scent.
In addition to restroom cleaning services, Cintas also provides reusable and washable facemask rentals that are strong enough to withstand its industrial laundering process. Face masks are offered as a weekly rental service, which includes picking up used masks and delivering a clean set each week for customers and employees.
“Giving customers peace of mind during these trying times is important to keeping them loyal,” added Mulcahey. “Investing in professional cleaning and mask rental services can help instill confidence for employees and customers, and drive repeat business.”
