Unlike the hundreds of distilleries making sanitizer, Cayuga is able to produce large quantities of high-quality neutral spirits in far less time and at one-third of the energy use of its grain-based competitors. Unlike traditional ethanol distillation, Cayuga’s process produces and recycles water, rather than consumes it. In fact, for every one gallon of ethanol distilled, five gallons of water and one pound of high-protein animal feed are produced.
