Alpha Omega Integration Partners With the Small Business Association (SBA) to Support Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) & Other Relief Programs

VIENNA, Va. - May 13, 2020 - (Newswire.com)

Alpha Omega Integration, LLC is proud to provide integral support to the Small Business Administration (SBA) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Alpha Omega team has worked with the SBA since 2014 to maintain, develop and enhance the agency’s Capital Access Financial Systems (CAFS), Loan Accounting Systems (LAS), E-Tran, and other mission-critical public web applications and web services. Infrastructure improvements and processing efficiencies have made it possible for the SBA to quickly respond to the U.S. Small Business community needs, providing additional volumes of relief money, implementing forgiveness business rules, and other programs through SBA and CAFS.

The SBA has been crucial to supporting small businesses through loans and the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) as part of the CARES Act passed by the US Congress earlier this year. Alpha Omega has worked closely with SBA program stakeholders, large banks, lenders, vendors, and small businesses to extend loans and grants in record time. The SBA processed over $70 billion in loans within the first four calendar days of the implementation of the PPP on April 1, 2020. As of this news release, SBA has processed $349 billion in loans in Round I and continues to process an additional $310 billion in Round II.

“In an incredibly short period of time – four weeks – we have helped SBA process more than 15 times the collective loan volume under JOBS and Recovery Act,” said Gautam Ijoor, President of Alpha Omega. “As a Small Business ourselves, we are humbled to be playing such a critical role in processing the SBA’s massive loan volumes and expediting support to struggling small businesses. I like to personally congratulate every Alpha Omega employee in SBA for going above and beyond to make our customer successful.

The Alpha Omega team’s commitment to resiliency, security, customer mission and innovation has enabled the SBA Office of Capital Access (OCA) to operate in uncharted territory and deliver unprecedented support to struggling businesses nationwide. Their team is confident in their ability to meet all circumstances to steer the critical monetary relief for the Small Business community, and they are grateful to the SBA leadership team for their tireless public service during these times.
