The Venture Team: Led by the dynamic Mr. Dan Adrian Pop
The driving force behind SM Global Financing is Mr. Dan Adrian Pop. After finishing his medicine from Georgia, Dan went to Dukes to study HR Management. Thereafter he worked for Coca Cola. But he was bitten by the entrepreneur bug. So he flew to Singapore and started United Consult and did recruiting for several US & Canadian employers. By 2010 he was recruiting and staffing through o out US/ Canada and Australia.
In 2016, he sold his company to Adecco and moved to Europe. By 2017 he started United Technologies Holding Ltd and started developing software solutions; once he started selling them he moved onto financial business and used the funds to do bank guarantees for clients in China (at first) through United Finance Ltd. This business developed and grew and he opened his own trading bank in new Zealand (United Wealth Finance). By 2019 he brought them all under SM Global Financial.
