Global M&A activity falls to levels not seen since 2013 – with U.S. results eerily similar to 2008

After almost 10 years of growth, activity was down almost 40 percent by value in the first quarter – a level not seen since the first half of 2013 and eerily similar to the first quarter of 2008 during the early days of the financial crisis.
