Guardian Roofing To Set To Announce 2020 Winner of Guardian Halo Project

One Local Resident Will Receive Free Roofing Services As Part of Community Give-Back Program

SEATTLE, WA, February 13, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Guardian Roofing, a Seattle-based home service provider, will be announcing the winner of the Guardian Halo Project which awards one local resident roofing services they might not otherwise be able to afford.

Contestants applied for the services starting in late 2019. The nomination period for The Halo Project ends February 14th, 2020 and the winner will be announced on February 17th.

The Guardian Halo Project is a philanthropic project Guardian started in 2018 where they pledged to give one homeowner in dire need a major roof repair or roof replacement. Guardian has historically made it a priority to give back to the local community through partnerships with other organizations, but in 2018 they decided to start Halo Project on their own. Last year's winner was Mrs. Cindy Vaughn, a local staple in the community whose home, while filled with warmth and good cheer, was in bad shape due to the deterioration of their roof (which had been tarped for the better part of two years). Guardian was able to provide the Vaughn family with a desperately needed new roof. The Guardian team volunteered their time on a Saturday to come together and install the new roof for the couple.

The primary qualifying requirements for the project are nominees must be 21 years of age or older, own the home in question, reside in that home and are current on the mortgage payments.

According to Guardian's Lori Swanson, "Giving back to the community is at the core of our company's beliefs and values. It only makes sense to help those in our community in need and provide them adequate roofing to ensure their comfort and safety."
