In such a diverse world, it is story that immerses us into the global mindset. Since 2009, New Media Film Festival has made the cutting edge accessible by seamlessly weaving the tried and true with the next wave.

Hollywood, Jan 24, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Announcing the early line up of premieres which include Interactive documentaries, an animated film -- exploring men's mental health, the plight of a Syrian refugee family, the consequences of climate change, and the effect of digital connections on human relationships --which will be screened during the 11th New Media Film Festival, to be held June 3 and 4. There will be a Q & A with the content creators in attendance.

The festival will be held at The Landmark, 10850 W. Pico Blvd. in Los Angeles.

The New Media Festival, part of the United Nations Millennium Project, was launched as an annual event during the 2009 C3: Center for Conscious Creativity "Immerse in the Future" symposium held in Los Angeles.  The festival is the brainchild of media futurist and current president of Select Services Films Inc. Susan Johnston.  She saw the need for a unique event specifically catering to new media content artists that would "look at new technologies and how it merges with the story so people can go on the journey the story set out to create."  The result is a film festival that the organizers say creates "new opportunities outside the norm to bolster creators in media."
