The International Association of Women (IAW) recognizes Marlyn Llorens as a 2019-2020 Influencer. She is acknowledged as a leader in entrepreneurship. Marlyn Llorens has more than two decades of experience as a highly successful Operational and Program Manager and Consultant. She has held a number of leadership positions, including Assistant Director for Operational Delivery and Sr. Project Manager at the University of Chicago and President and CEO of On Target and Associates.
Seven years ago, Ms. Llorens realized her dream of entrepreneurship when she and her husband founded LS Solutions Consultants, a management consulting firm that specializes in program/project management, and organizational development in public and private sectors, higher education and government. "I have always had a passion to be an entrepreneur and have worked as an independent Consultant for most of my career," Ms. Llorens said.
In her role as President and CEO at LS Solutions Consultants, Ms. Llorens primarily serves as a Program/Project Manager and assists clients with strategic planning. "I have strong skills in program and project management," she explained. "I have managed several large scale/organization-wide IT programs." Ms. Llorens and her team of experts work with clients to help streamline processes, improve and develop organizational structure and manage day-to-day operations.
While she admits understanding the culture of the client quickly can sometimes be challenging, it does not deter Ms. Llorens from working tirelessly to help her clients succeed. "It's very rewarding once a project is completed and we see how it has helped the client be more productive," she added.
As she looks toward the future, Ms. Llorens' goals include expanding the company's brand into additional streams of business and across the country.
