HONG KONG - Dec. 23, 2019 - PRLog -- Hong Kong will broaden cooperation with Russia in a number of areas of information and communication technologies. This also includes blockchain, information security, the Internet of things, and artificial intelligence.

Chinese software developer Vinci Group and Russian IT startup Jovi Technologies signed binding documents on partnerships in the field of information technology development. They also announced the beginning of a strategic cooperation. The parties plan to apply their expertise to the development of the digital economy and products based on artificial intelligence in Russia.

The Chinese side expressed interest in expanding cooperation with Russia at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum this year. Hong Kong is interested in developing cooperation with relevant Russian companies in the sphere of information security, the Internet of things and artificial intelligence. Vinci plans to participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2020 as a partner company.

The Russian side also sees opportunities for increasing cooperation in the sphere of so-called enabling technology. Strategic cooperation between partners will help accelerate their development and open serious prospects for further growth.

Vinci Group develops a diversified product line. The main components of it are Vinci messenger, a mobile application for confidential communication, and digital commerce tools. Jovi is a Russian IT company. It develops universal blockchain solutions for enterprises in various sectors of economy. In addition, the Jovi partner network already includes such well-known companies as JSIC "Energogarant" and JSC "CROC". The existing and potential projects will have a positive impact on both companies and can contribute to the development of digitalization and artificial intelligence in Russia.

The ecosystems of Vinci Group and Jovi Technologies complement each other and have a high potential for possible synergies. The following areas can be identified as the areas of potential cooperation:

1. Blockchain products for medium and small businesses;
2. Unique joint offers for customers and users of Vinci Group and Jovi Technologies;
3. Exchange of expertise in the field of technology and new integrated solutions;
4. Joint strategic projects.

Gary Ng, CEO of Vinci Group, comments: "A user-friendly interface and a million dollars for marketing are not enough to create a successful IT product. It is equally important to find partners to organize the sale, to implement, to consult and to eliminate technical difficulties. The agreements we signed with Jovi Technologies are the beginning of a fruitful cooperation where we can combine our technological and intellectual resources. We believe that our partnership will give a serious impetus to the development of the digital economy of both countries. We will lead to the dynamic development of modern and popular blockchain services that will change the common paradigms of the consumption of goods and services".
