Volunteers of America Minnesota and Wisconsin Names Julie Manworren Its Next President and CEO

Volunteers of America Minnesota and Wisconsin (VOA MN/WI) is pleased to announce that Julie Manworren has been named its new President and CEO.

Ms. Manworren, a transformational executive with demonstrated leadership expertise across diverse positions in nonprofit organizations, will start work with VOA MN/WI on Feb. 28. She succeeds Paula Hart, who retired in October, 2019.

Ms. Manworren joins VOA MN/WI from her current position as President and CEO of Eagan, MN-based Living Well Disability Services. She has led their organization since 2012 and directs a workforce of over 600, sustaining their mission of delivering exceptional services that transform the lives of people impacted by disabilities. She brings over 35 years of experience working in a variety of complex human services nonprofits.

In Volunteers of America MN/WI, she takes on leadership of one of the largest health and human services nonprofits in the region. VOA MN/WI serves more than 25,000 people in over 110 neighborhoods and communities across MN and WI with 800 employees and 1,400 volunteers. It has an annual budget of over $46 million.
