KBRA Releases Bank Talk: The After-Show

Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) releases this month’s edition of Bank Talk: The After-Show.

In Does Market Making Make Money, Ethan and Van go through data showing how market makers in fixed income, equity, and commodities experienced a solid year. While Van argues that profits in market making are getting squeezed because of capital requirements, competition, and market transparency, Ethan presented data showing that the large dealer banks have managed solid trading revenues despite reducing their exposure to market risk.
