SimplifIT Announced as National Cybersecurity Awareness Month Champion

Frankfort-based IT Firm Aims to Protect Organizations from the Hidden Dangers of Cybercrime

FRANKFORT, KY, October 04, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- SimplifIT, a Frankfort-based Managed IT and Cybersecurity firm, recently announced its commitment to National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM), held annually in October, by signing up to be a Champion and joining a growing global effort to promote the awareness of online safety and privacy.

NCSAM is a collaborative effort among businesses, government agencies, colleges and universities, associations, nonprofit organizations and individuals committed to this year's NCSAM theme of 'Own IT. Secure IT. Protect IT.' which encourages everyone to #BeCyberSmart through cybersecurity best practices.
 
During Cybersecurity Awareness month, SimplifIT will partner with government, businesses and industries by offering Cybersecurity awareness events in Lexington and Frankfort.  With hundreds of IT and business leaders attending these trainings over the past year, these cybersecurity events in October will train professionals from all over the state. These free events will be held on Oct. 22 at Malone's Prime in Lexington and October 24th at The Frankfort Country Club in Frankfort. Each event is free, with lunch provided and begins at 11:45 a.m.

In addition to these complimentary trainings for local I.T. and business leaders, SimplifIT's COO, Craig Willard, will be presenting at the Kentucky Community & Technical College System's upcoming Cybersecurity Summit on October 23rd.
 
SimplifIT will also offer tips to stay safe online during Cybersecurity Awareness Month via social media.
