Stephen Moore, who has been tapped by President Donald Trump to join the Federal Reserve board, says he has paid off a $75,000 tax lien — but the conservative economics pundit is not abandoning efforts to actually recoup money from the IRS that he claims he still is owed. Moore still could face scrutiny over his economic views, past writings about women, and a contempt finding by a judge after he failed to pay his ex-wife more than $330,000 in alimony, child support and a divorce settlement.
