1494 book on how to succeed in business is set for auction, expected to fetch up to $1.5 million

Italian mathematician Luca Pacioli is known as the Father of Modern Accounting. His 1494 book, "Summa de Arithmetica: The Birth of Modern Business," prefigured many aspects of the modern business world. Set to go on the auction block in June, the book is expected to fetch up to $1.5 million, according to Christie's.
