TSA's airport screeners get partial pay as shutdown's financial toll worsens

The Transportation Security Administration said workers would get partial pay as the government shutdown continues to take a toll on the some 51,000 frontline airport employees. The TSA officers are among the some 420,000 federal workers who haven't been receiving regular paychecks but have been deemed essential and ordered to work in the spending impasse.
