Scott Cooper Miami Reveals Cocaine Cowboys Back In Florida

According to Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) officials, Colombia—which is said to produce 90% of the cocaine found in the United States—has tripled its production of the drug in the past three years.
MIAMI - Oct. 29, 2018 - PRLog -- Every major city has a drug problem. "Miami, once known as the drug capital of the world, is making a comeback," according to Scott Cooper Miami. As Americans turned their attention to confront an opioid epidemic, Colombia has been producing more cocaine than ever before. The tiny South American nation produced a record estimated 1,379 tons of cocaine in 2017, a 30% increase from the year before.

"Cocaine trafficking from Colombia is growing at alarming rates," according to Miami's Scott Cooper. "It is obvious that cocaine cultivation and production will continue to increase dramatically unless the government steps in."

"In October, the US Coast Guard seized $47 million of cocaine and marijuana offloaded in Miami Beach," said Scott Cooper. In August, the Coast Guard seized over 14,000 pounds of cocaine with a street value of $356 million and offloaded it at Port Everglades.

"Today's drug lords are using the 'Bitcoin approach'," said Miami CEO Scott Cooper. "They are decentralized. They are trying to fly under the radar. Nobody is looking to be the next Pablo Escobar and become a Netflix movie star."
