UPDATE 4-Tropical Storm Nate pounds Central America, heads for U.S.

SAN JOSE, Oct 5 (Reuters) - Tropical Storm Nate unleashed intense rainfall across much of Central America on Thursday, killing at least 3 in Costa Rica as it heads for the U.S. Gulf Coast where it is expected to strike as a hurricane this weekend.
