AGCO Corporation Selects SumTotal Talent Management System

SumTotal® Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:SUMT), a global provider of talent and learning managementsolutions, said that AGCO Corporation (NYSE:AG) has purchased the SumTotal Enterprise Suite to deliver learning, manage employee performance and align goals. The SumTotal suite is a talent management system consisting of TotalLMS, a platform for delivering and analyzing learning, TotalPerformance, software for assessing employee performance, and TotalCompensation, technology for building, among other things, pay-for-performance models.

Duluth, Ga.-based AGCO, a world leader in the manufacture, marketing and distribution of agricultural equipment, is implementing SumTotals Enterprise Suite in phases as part of a strategic human resources initiative. Since its formation in 1990, AGCO has grown through more than 20 acquisitions. AGCO sought a unified approach and platform for managing its strategic HR needs, and SumTotals software will support this global alignment.

To date, AGCO has implemented SumTotals software for: managing employee goals, constructing succession plans, and assessing employee performance and competencies.
