COLUMBUS, Ohio - June 17, 2016 - PRLog -- Stop the Suffering, a Columbus-based dog and cat rescue, is hosting a charity fundraiser and book launch with bestselling author David Rosenfelt at MAPFRE Stadium, Heineken Star Lounge, on Wednesday, July 27 at 6:30pm. David will share highlights of his Hollywood life, career as a writer, and love for dogs and animal rescue. A complimentary menu of sushi, housemade dips and spreads, shrimp shooters, antipasto and seasonal fruit will be offered. Outfoxed will be available for purchase. A raffle and silent auction will be held. Special group, rescue, and senior rates will be available until July 15. Tickets purchased before July 15 will be eligible for the David Rosenfelt novel giveaway.

Rosenfelt's latest novel, Outfoxed, focuses on defense lawyer Andy Carpenter, who has lately been especially involved in a county prison program where inmates help train dogs for the Tara Foundation. But one day, the prisoner that he has been working with and the dog he is training make an ingenious escape. The next day, the man on whose testimony the prisoner was convicted is found murdered. Once the prisoner is back in custody, Andy finds himself with a new client and dog. And as he starts to dig deeper into the murder and the events leading up to it, Andy realizes he might be putting them all in far more danger than anyone had realized.
