Force Protection Inc. (Nasdaq: FRPT) agreed to by acquired by General Dynamics Corp. (NYSE: GD) for approximately $360 million. The defense contractor also announced that it returned to a better than expected profit for the third quarter. Shares of Force Protection soared $1.28 to $5.49 while General Dynamics stock eased 18 cents to $63.27.
