HOUSTON, Sept 6 (Reuters) - Offshore oil and gas producers were restaffing Gulf of Mexico platforms on Tuesday as weather improved after high winds and rough seas hampered such efforts in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Lee over the long U.S. Labor Day holiday weekend.
