Senior Housing Properties Trust (NYSE: SNH) today announced the election of Richard A. Doyle (age 38) as Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer by SNH’s Board of Trustees, effective March 15, 2007.
Mr. Doyle has been employed in senior finance and accounting positions by Reit Management & Research LLC (RMR) and its affiliates since 2005. Prior to that, he was employed by Sun Life Financial in positions involving finance and accounting for 10 years. Mr. Doyle also has an MBA and is a certified public accountant.
Mr. Doyle is replacing John R. Hoadley (age 35), who is resigning from the position of Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer at SNH to assume the position of Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at TravelCenters of America LLC (AMEX: TA). Both SNH and TA have contractual management agreements with RMR.
Senior Housing Properties Trust is a real estate investment trust, or REIT, which owns 196 senior living properties located in 32 states. SNH is headquartered in Newton, Massachusetts.
