Doylestown, PA – August 18, 2022 – Total Skills is thrilled to announce the addition of Pete O’Hara as the Director of Player Development.  Coach O’Hara will be responsible for building the region’s premier skill development programs across youth sports, as well as working closely with Total Skills co-founders Jeremy Beckett and Robert Spratt on expanding the overall Total Skills training curriculum.

“We are very excited about the addition of Pete O‘Hara. Pete brings a wealth of knowledge across multiple sports and athletic programming, combined with a level of professionalism and business expertise that is rare in our industry. He will be an invaluable resource for our current and future youth athletes,” said Beckett.

“Pete has been dedicated to Total Skills over the past 10 years as a top instructor in our Small Group Training programs, Director of Summer Youth and Team Camps, as well as head coach of our travel teams.   Pete’s blended experience in running curriculums spanning from youth baseball through the college level will give our athletes at Total Skills a distinct advantage in training to achieve their goals of playing in high school, college and possibly beyond,” said Spratt.

A local standout, O’Hara enjoyed a prosperous career at nearby Delaware Valley University where he earned his bachelor’s degree and MBA. As an Aggie, O’Hara was a three-time all-conference standout on the Diamond who ranks among the leaders in the Delaware Valley University record books in several offensive categories. O’Hara also was a member of the football team that saw a pair of conference championships and appearances in the NCAA Division III Tournament. He was named the Delaware Valley University Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2014.  From there, O’Hara spent time with NCAA Division I St. Joseph University, and was most recently the Head Coach at Gwynedd Mercy University.  Local to the area, O’Hara attended Council Rock North High School and is from New Hope, Pennsylvania.

“I’m incredibly excited to join the Total Skills team. I’ve been familiar with the Total Skills brand for a long time as a leader in the Doylestown community, and I am looking forward to helping positively impact youth sports in the community on all levels. I am extremely grateful to the Total Skills team welcoming myself and my family with open arms, and truly appreciative to the players and organizations I have been a part of along the way. Total Skills is an organization with a very bright future and positive reach in the community and I feel very lucky to now be a part of the team and contribute right away,” said O’hara.
