     On November 2, 2010, Forestar Group Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the Company’s earnings for the quarter ended September 30, 2010. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 of this report.

     On November 3, 2010, management of the Company will participate in a conference call discussing the Company’s earnings for the quarter ended September 30, 2010. Copies of the presentation materials to be used by management are furnished as Exhibit 99.2 of this report.
