Item 9. Regulation FD Disclosure.
The Company announced that it has been awarded a contract by the U. S. Army
Communications Electronic Command (CECOM), valued at $28 Million, for the
BA-5390/U battery. Shipments will begin in November 2003 and continue into the
first quarter of 2004. Refer to the attached Exhibit 99.1 for the entire text of
the release, which Exhibit is being furnished but not filed in accordance with
Regulation FD.
