Appointment of a member of the Board of Directors

Rio de Janeiro, July 11, 2018—Petróleo Brasileiro S.A.—Petrobras informs that its Board of Directors, at a meeting held today, appointed Mr. Durval José Soledade Santos to the position of member of the Company’s Board of Directors, until the next Shareholders’ Meeting, as provided for in Article 25 of the Bylaws. The position was vacant since May 29, 2018, as disclosed to the market on May 30, 2018.

Durval is graduated in Law from the Universidade Federal Fluminense. He has an Executive MBA from COPPE/UFRJ and has a post graduate degree in Development Economics from PUC/BNDES and Corporate Law from Universidade Cândido Mendes. He worked at BNDES between 1973 and 2008 where he held several positions such as Chief of Staff of the Presidency, Administration Areas Superintendent, Capital Markets and Special Operations and Legal Superintendent of the BNDESPAR. He was Director for two administrations and General Superintendent at the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission. He worked in state-owned companies, occupying several management positions. He was a Board of Directors member of several companies such as Usiminas, Portinvest—Participações S/A and Forjas Taurus S/A. From May 2016 until May 2018, he was a member of Petrobras’ Board of Directors and currently participates in the Boards of Directors of Petrobras Distribuidora (BR) and LOGZ—Logĺstica Brasil S/A.
