Swisscom submits bid for Cesky Telecom

Swisscom is participating in the bidding process to purchase a 51.1% stake in Cesky Telecom from the National Property Fund of the Czech Republic. The leading Swiss telecommunications provider submitted a binding offer on 29 March 2005. Swisscom can currently not provide information concerning the purchase price or other details of the bid.
