Item 8.01 Other Events

On August 24, 2007, Neuralstem, Inc. issued a press release announcing that its shares had been approved for listing on the American Stock Exchange. Neuralstem expect its shares to begin trading on August 27, 2007 under the symbol “CUR.”

A copy of that press release is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1.
