On October 27, 2016, Adaptimmune Therapeutics plc (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the appointment of Giles Kerr to its Board of Directors as an independent Non-Executive Director effective from November 1, 2016. Mr. Kerr will also serve as a member of the Company’s Audit Committee. The Company also announced the planned retirement of Mr. Ian Laing who will step down from the Company’s Board on December 31, 2016. The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated by reference herein.
