On July 31, 2008, Stanley, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing financial results for its first quarter ended June 27, 2008.  A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is hereby incorporated by reference into this Item 2.02.

Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

 

On July 29, 2008, Thomas R. Fradette informed the Company of his intention to resign as the Company’s Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer in order to accept a position as chief financial officer of a private federal government services firm headquartered in Northern Virginia.  Mr. Fradette’s resignation will be effective on August 19, 2008.
